Tour Golf 2026 reaches its conclusion at the Laguna Course, where the final showdown between Team Spider and Team Tiger will decide this year’s champions.
After two rounds of pairs golf and Stableford scoring, everything now comes down to individual matchplay.
No partners.
No hiding place.
Just head-to-head battles with the trophy on the line.
And by the end of the day, both the winning team and the 2026 Individual Champion will be crowned.
THE COURSE
Designed by Joseph Lee, Laguna is one of Vilamoura’s most exposed and visually striking layouts.
Unlike the tree-lined tests of Pinhal and Millennium, Laguna offers:
- Wide, open fairways
- Large greens with multiple pin positions
- Water hazards throughout the course
- Wind exposure that can completely alter strategy
The layout invites aggressive golf — but Laguna has a habit of punishing players who chase too hard.
Particularly when pressure starts building late in matches.
THE FINAL-DAY FORMAT
Round 3 shifts entirely to:
🥊 INDIVIDUAL MATCHPLAY
Spider vs Tiger.
One-on-one battles across the course.
Every player steps onto the first tee knowing exactly who they need to beat.
Some matches will decide team momentum.
Others could decide the individual title itself.
And unlike Stableford, there’s nowhere to hide after a bad hole. Lose focus for 10 minutes at Laguna and a match can disappear quickly.
